Job Description:
  • Performs the role of the anesthesia technician.
  • Uses principles of aseptic technique to establish and maintain a sterile field.
  • Maintains organized work area and participates in daily unit duties.
  • Facilitates efficient completion of the surgery schedule.

Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
BCLS required
Certification after 2 years employment as anesthesia technician or after completion of anesthesia tech program, preferred.

Graduate of an anesthesia technician program preferred. OR six (6) months experience in direct patient care as CNA, LPN, EMT, ST, PHT or 6 months experience in Surgical Support role at FRMC
Ability to work flexible and sometimes long hours, standing and walking most of the day.  Call required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
