Job Description

Central Carolina Hospital

Summary:  Assess, plan, evaluate, and coordinate the movement of patients throughout the Hospital.
  1. Ensures bed control and patient transport services are readily available and provided to patients.
  2. Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements procedures/processes to support the efficient and timely movement of patients throughout the Hospital in collaboration with Nursing Administration leadership.
  3. Establishes and clearly communicates service/performance expectations; monitors and evaluates performance, providing feedback and coaching.
  4. Promotes a service-oriented culture.
  5. Evaluates patient flow throughout the Hospital; establishes and reviews quality and efficiency metrics; identifies opportunities for improvement in efficiency, outcomes, and service quality.
  6. Collaborates with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, leadership, and other ancillary staff regarding the development, implementation, and evaluation of services
  7. Assists Nursing Administration leadership with annual budget planning and evaluation; monitor expenses and ensure cost control measures are followed.

Job Requirements

Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Two years of college is preferred
Associate’s degree is preferred
Required Certification: 
American Heart Association BLS is required
Previous experience in an acute care hospital environment is required.
Previous experience with data analytics is preferred.
