Job Summary:

 

The Central Kentucky Market Clinical Recruiter provides HR support to hospital staff and leaders.  This role performs HR-related duties on a professional level and carries out responsibilities in general HR, recruiting, regulatory and compliance.

The Clinical Recruiter will operate under the guidance of a local Human Resource Operations Partner but often works independently to assist leaders and assure objectivity and fairness for employees while supporting the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the company.

The Clinical Recruiter will report directly to the Hospital Human Resource Director. This role will support and monitor implementation of company initiatives, policies and procedures, and assure compliance and consistency across the hospital system.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • General Office duties (phones, filing, organizational work)

  • Computer work (must have experience with word, excel, and power point.

  • Customer Service (must have the ability to multi-task and help people to locate the appropriate resource for their needs.

 

Recruiting

  • Executes on recruiting plans to include networking through industry contacts, using social media and implementing LifePoint tools and resources.

  • Works with hiring managers on regular recruiting update meetings.

  • Updates job descriptions as changes dictate.

  • Work with leaders to assure timely interviewing and selection decisions are made.

  • Develop and maintain pools of candidates where possible for commonly open positions.

  • Identify and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

  • Work with local colleges and nursing leaders to cultivate relationships.

  • Work with Service Center to assure timely onboarding of new employees.

  • Within approved scope, assist with compensation range development and rate assignment (subject to leadership approval).

  • Effectively manage orientation process.

  • Assist leaders with 30, 60, 90 day feedback process.

  • Effectively manage candidates through applicant tracking system (Taleo).

  • Provides education to facility leadership in regard to the hospital recruiting and selection processes.

  • Works with the HR Operations Partner to develop and update Recruitment and Retention Plans.

  • Strategically carries out Recruitment and Retention Plan directives

  • Monitors, assesses and measures plan tactics.

  • Makes recommendations to adjust and alter plan goals.

  • Monitors turnover reports, exit interview process and provides monthly reports, statistics to HR Operations Partner.

  • Provides updates to hospital leadership as directed

  • Works with community liaisons, marketing teams and local colleges to enhance brand and hospital image.

 

Regulatory/Risk

  • Understands TJC and CMS HR requirements.

  • Maintains files and assists HR Leader with regulatory compliance.

  • Assists HR Leader as requested during surveys.

  • Takes particular interest into assuring orientation (dept. and hospital) and TJC standards related to credentialing and onboarding are complete and accurate.

  • Manages Contract Labor process and Compliance with Contracts.


Job Requirements

MinimumQualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent related work experience required.

  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

  • 2 years previous Recruiting experience preferred
