Job Description

Palestine Regional Medical Center

Procures and distributes medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or pre-arranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols. Maintains adequate stock of medication and supplies according to established policies and procedures. Communicates well with physicians, patients, visitors and co-workers. Participates in the quality improvement activities of the department. Maintains competence required for current job title/position.

Weekends Rotate.

Job Requirements

Minimum one year of retail/hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Will consider other medical and/or retail experience. Certified Pharmacy Technician required. Must be registered with the State of Texas after receiving the National Certification. Must maintain Texas registration. May be required to drive between campuses.
