We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, an 18 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Department.  This is a PRN position which provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems
  • Fills medication carts on a daily basis
  • Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department
  • Repackages bulk medication
  • Compound sterile and hazardous products
  • Maintain drug inventory, including purchases, returns, restocking, stock rotation, backorders, recalls, shortages and loan/borrows

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Job Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred

Licensure/Certification:

  • Registered with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy in good standing
  • PTCB- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern
