Providence Health is looking for an experienced RN for our Chest Pain and Cardiac Cath Accreditation Coordinator role. The ideal candidate will have experience with reviewing medical records, analyzing patient data and at least 5 years of hospital based experience.

The Chest Pain and Cardiac Cath Coordinator is responsible for the development of a comprehensive program for data review and dissemination related to hospital wide quality performance improvement. This individual is responsible for the maintenance of information as the design and implementation of new reports or methodologies in compliance with hospital or regulatory needs. They will also be responsible for the data mining across multiple databases for both hospitals. This individual will coordinate committee meetings and will be responsible for all aspects of the accreditations responsibilities.


Job Requirements

EssentialFunctions

  • Automation andmaintenance of electronic data
  • Trending andanalysis of all data reviewed by the department of Performance Improvement.
  • Monthly analysis oftrends and issues and development of reports to reflect issues. Develop andmaintain new reports and databases including JCAHO, Core Measures and CMSregulations database as needed.
  • Datamining tosupport the activities of Quality.
  • Needs to befamiliar with hospital databases, advanced datamining techniques, and computerapplications.
  • Serve as liaison tohospital departments to set up Performance Improvement Activities, datamining,data analysis and data reporting.

 

Minimum WorkExperience

Requires five (5)years of hospital experience, and strong critical thinking skills.

Prefer experiencewith medical records review and/or analyzing patient data.

Prefer experiencewith Excel software.

Minimum Education

Requires graduationfrom an accredited School of Nursing, Business, Allied Health or HealthAdministration.

Required Licenses

[South Carolina,United States] Registered Nurses

Current SC RNlicense in good standing required.

BLS & ACLScertification required.

CPHQ andCardiovascular Care Coordinator Certification preferred.
