Job Summary


Performs account follow up and resolution of insurance claims for various payor types.


Job Responsibilities


Contactpatients and/or payors to resolve aged or delayed accounts receivable,escalating accounts when appropriate

Identify codingor billing errors and correct in a timely manner

Work withpayors to secure payments on outstanding account balances

Researchaccounts and complete appropriate follow-up actions



Job Requirements

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent Required
Two years of college Preferred
Associate’s degree Preferred


Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required


Minimum Required Work Experience

One (1) year healthcare revenue cycle
