Health Support Center

Job Summary 

Responsible foractivities related to insurance accounts receivable for the service center. 


Essential Functions

  • Assists with development specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.  Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitments, and payroll.
  • Monitors departmental regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.  Determines and justifies needs for departmental purchases and monitors supply usage.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Ensures timely follow up on insurance accounts receivable, handling escalated claim issues and trending payor issues.

Non-Essential Functions

  • Perform analyst level duties as required
  • Assists with special projects as necessary



Job Requirements

Minimum Education

Associate’s degree Required
Bachelor’s degree Preferred

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action


Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office products required


Minimum Required Work Experience


Five (5)years healthcare revenue cycle experience required

Two (2)years of supervisory/leadership experience required
