St Francis Hospital

The construction coordinator is responsible as a working supervisor for supervising the operational personnel of construction and renovation projects to include hospital maintenance staff and contractors. The construction supervisor works closely with the Facilities Services Department Project Engineer.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Successful completion oftwo year trade school certificate program in maintenance, or one or more of theskilled trades preferred

Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and theability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressfulenvironment and take appropriate action.


Licenses: Must have and maintaincurrent valid driver’s license.

Minimum Work Experience: Minimum ten (10) years working experience in all facets ofmaintenance in a hospital or equivalent setting to include bed repairs,plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, finishing, locksmithing, fire protectionequipment, and power plant operations. Work may be substituted for the tradeschool certificate.
