Job Description

St Francis Hospital

Performs all duties pertaining to hardware, software, and network in accordance with defined standard operating procedures.  Supports and maintains computer systems, desktops and peripherals for wired and wireless devices.  This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring an optimal and standardized workstation performance.  Also troubleshoots problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provides end user training, support and assistance where required.  Collaborates with application and infrastructure colleagues to root cause environment failures leveraging industry standard Open Systems Interconnection.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education
Associate’s degree in Computer Science orequivalent

Minimum WorkExperience
Three to Five years of progressivelyresponsible computer repair and system support experience in a healthcare(preferred) and/or business setting with demonstrated effective communicationskill preferred

Required Skills
Certifications (Preferred): MCP, CompTIA A+,or Net+
