The Director, Strategic Operations position is responsible for managing, monitoring and mitigating issues surrounding the physician services strategic initiatives. Also responsible for developing plans for meeting criteria related to Annual Wellness Visit and Chronic Care Management patient protocol.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation. 

Manage the operational leadership through implementation of strategic initiatives such as the annual wellness visit, chronic care management, and standardization of drug formulary and inventory method initiatives within the Physician Services Group.

Lead the day to day aspects of the strategic operations team in physician services and communications with internal and external parties that support Lifepoint entities.

Partner with our technology partners such (Example - Athena, Ingenius Med, eCW, VitalSource) and teams during IT implementations and optimizations essential for strategic development and reporting capabilities for the Physician Services Group. 

Create training material and communication and deliver training to physicians and staff, identifying issues, and remedying issues as they arise.

Develop and articulate Ominpoint’s value proposition within the markets and Health Support Center (HSC) in order to gain physician and operational leadership engagement and participation.

Evaluate and recommend financial parameters, quality measures and scorecards to align Omnipoint, service line development, physician services and the respective entities in the Group, Region or Markets.

Participate in the construction of a viable financial model needed to grow and sustain the Omnipoint business strategy.

Manage development and optimization of Omnipoint practices? in the market and HSC to ensure a timely transition to the market ownership.

Education: Bachelor's Degree.


Experience: Minimum of 7 years related experience with 5 years’ specific experience as a multispecialty practice manager and/or clinical experience in a multispecialty clinic as an advanced practitioner
