Echovascular Sonographer Position Summary:  Performs echovascular studies as required; including Echocardiograms, TEE studies, Carotid Duplex studies, Arterial extremity testing, Venous extremity studies and Radial Artery Assessment's among other studies. Diligently prepares appropriate paperwork for echovascular studies. Works with, instructs, and supervises echovascular students.  Utilizing the department/hospital routines while following Providence Health's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Job Requirements


*Education:  HighSchool graduate and graduate of an accredited formal program in Echo/VascularUltrasound and/or on-the-job training in Echo/Vascular Ultrasound. Must beregistered in 1 modality upon hire and in both modalities within 3 months ofstart date.

*Licensure/Certification:  BLS,RDCS, RVT, ARDMS

*Professional Experience:  Individualswith formal training in Echocardiography or Vascular Ultrasound. Minimum of oneyear experience in a cardiology physician practice preferred.
