Under the general supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, and according to established policies and procedures, performs and maintains equipment used for electroencephalographic, evoked potential, and electromyographic/nerve conduction. Performs other general clerical and receptionist duties as required. Performs other work of the Department as indicated.

Job Requirements

- Associate degree in relevant healthcare field is required, and completion
  of a formal Neurodiagnostic program accredited by the Commission on
  Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is preferred.
- Within one year of hire, employee must take and pass a recognized
  national examination for professional credentials in an area relevant to
  Neurodiagnostics including EEG, evoked potentials, polysomnography,
  and nerve conduction studies.
- One year of experi­ence in evoked potentials, EMGs, and nerve
  conduction studies highly preferred.
- The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and
  react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent,
  adult and geriatric patients.
- CPR certification required and provided.
