Health Support Center

The Manager, Marketing Services is responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight related to the hospital's marketing tactics with a focus on growth initiatives by coordinating the creative development, production and placement of marketing materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation. 

Review and analyze market/hospital/patient data to maintain a knowledge base for guiding strategic recommendations and decisions and to understand migration patterns and manage market share opportunities with a targeted approach.

Coordinate, review and manage production of the creative requests from hospital Marketing Directors to support overall hospital and organizational strategic initiatives.

Interact with hospital marketing staff and leadership, as well as other Health Support Center (HSC) departments to educate on marketing best practices, strategic initiatives, and tracking methods.

Manage the development of campaigns in support of hospital service lines, brand and health awareness and physician services initiatives.

Encourage use of existing best practices for hospital marketing initiatives.

Manage and coordinate hospital marketing job requests and facilitate use of the dynamic print portal for hospital campaigns and collateral.

Develop relationships with assigned hospitals through regular communications to include conference calls, status meetings and tactical plan reviews.

Manage integrated marketing of digital campaigns, social media, and e-marketing in support of service line initiatives and overall marketing campaigns.

Manage multiple agency relationships and proactively understand scope of projects offered to elevate opportunities in the market.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's Degree inMarketing, Communications, or Creative Arts.


Experience: Minimum of 5 years.Healthcare experience and agency experience preferred.

Business MathematicalSkills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units ofmeasure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability tocompute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.

Moderate Computer Skills-- Frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets,graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate simple functionsinto documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support businessobjectives.

Noise level in the work environment is typical for an office and/orhospital environment.

Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
