Job Description

St Francis Hospital

Under the direction of an RN is responsible for patient safety, welfare, and the implementation of therapeutic milieu and treatment plans. Serve as a patient observer on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require any degree of observation in order to maximize patient safety. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficiency of the nursing unit.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Two (2) years of collegiatecoursework to include general psychology, interpersonal communication, abnormalpsychology, and/or human growth and development preferred

Certifications

Basic Life Support(BLS) X Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire

Minimum WorkExperience
One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
