ability to care for all patients over 6 months of age

-basic ability to interpret EKG and recognize life threatening rythyms

-basic ability to interpret X-Rays

-suturing

-incision and drainage of abscesses

-splint applications

-interpretation of basic labs (rapid strep, flu, CMP, UA, Urine Preg, culture results)

-common medication administration and prescribing

-strong interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service

Travel may be required periodically between MedAccess clinics

Weekend and holiday work required

Job Requirements

Graduate of accredited program with Masters Degree as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Licensed in NC

Desired experience

-prefer 2 years experience in acute care or emergency department

-other experience considered, with preference to acute out patient care or prior experience in EMS and military.

Required

-PALS

-DOT Medical Examiner within 120 days of hire
