St Francis Hospital

Responsible for personnel, management, and the coordination of nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift, in accordance with established philosophy, objectives, and policies for the hospital to ensure safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care and takes charge, in the absence of the Director of Nursing Services.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education:
Associate’s degree from an institution of higher education accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and/or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum Work Experience:
Must have two (2) years of acute nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse experience is preferred.
