Providence Cardiology – Camden are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join their team.

Office Manager Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for departmental orientation/training and supervision of clinical and front office staff office to include interviewing candidates, scheduling, evaluation and other personnel actions under the direction of the Physician Network Development Director.
  • Responsible for facilitating all patient encounters by the coordination and assignment of efficient workload to clinical and office staff. This includes surgery scheduling and obtaining appropriate authorizations.
  • Maintains appropriate security and record keeping in accordance with policies for all money collected in the practice.
  • Procures all supplies needed for the practice.
  • Monitors expenses to assure that cost efficiency is maintained.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements related to the medical practice.
  • Coordinates the timely filing of accurate medical claims to patients and payers with the Central Billing Office. Coordinates prompt response to inquiries for additional information from attorneys, patients and payers.

Job Requirements

Minimum Work Experience
At least three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in medical practice is required.
Minimum Education
Associate Degree in Business or Health Related Field or at least three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a medical office setting.
