The Physician Assistant is directly responsible to the physician and has the responsibility for overall direction, utilization, supervision, instruction, treatment and evaluation of patients assigned.  The Physician Assistant organizes and conducts medical care programs to facilitate maximum wellness and rehabilitation of patients assigned under direct supervision and responsibility of the attending physician.  Programs are adapted within the scope of practice as outlined in the Physician Assistant practice agreement/protocol to individual patient needs.

Job Requirements

Graduate of a school or program accredited by the American Medical Association, The Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association with a preferred minimum of two years clinic experience.

Must have, or be eligible for, State Licensure, Certification or Registration as applicable.  Registration must be obtained within one year, or as per state law Ex.

Experience in community health desired.
