Clark Regional Medical Center just 18 minutes from Lexington is searching for a CMA - Certified Medical Assistant to join our Clark Clinic family in within our Pediatrics clinic.  This is a Full-Time opportunity on day shift.  This is a CMA Call Center Triage position joining a highly functional high-trust team of medical professionals assisting the Pediatrician within our Pediatric outpatient Clinic.  This role focuses directly on supporting the physicians to make the patients experience above and beyond their expectations by triaging patient phone calls and providing clinical expertise. Your CMA certification or graduation from accredited medical assistant program or LPN licensure, BLS certification, and work experience within a healthcare environment are minimally required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the provider to provide service to patients

•  Triages pediatric patient telephone calls and provides clinical expertise when appropriate.

•   Answers multiple incoming telephone lines.

•  Obtains necessary personal and clinical information and ensures patient's needs are addressed.

•   Provides information to callers as appropriate.

•   Triage patient calls and ensures appropriate appointment scheduling

Job Requirements

Requirements

•     Graduate of accredited medical assistanceprogram or equivalent required

•     CMA or LPN active Licensure required

•     BLS certified within 14 days of hire

•     High School Diploma

•     Excellent customer service skills
