LifePoint Health has an excitingopportunity for a Performance Monitoring Engineer to join our Infrastructure Servicesteam at the Health Support Center (HSC) located in Brentwood, TN.

This Performance MonitoringEngineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance,and monitoring of LifePoint’s core systems and applications. This position willalso be responsible for assisting in performance investigations and configuringtools to properly monitor the network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) for all Server or performance related activities and provide expertise, guidance, and standardization enterprise-wide.
  • Build, design, and implement performance infrastructure system, tools or processes to support Health Infrastructure & Technology Services (HITS) Infrastructure Services team
  • Responsible for monitoring the systems performance and undertake maintenance and upgrades as required
  • Responsible for configuring tools to properly monitor LifePoint’s network
  • Represent monitoring tools and interface among other departments to determine monitoring standards

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure and networking concepts
  • Experience with Performance and Application Performance Monitoring; SolarWinds experience preferred

Skills:              

  • Ability to multitask and switch gears to meet changing priorities and tasks to accomplish goals
  • Ability to solve complex problems quickly and efficiently
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows OS
  • Communicate and work directly with customers, stakeholders, subject matter experts and colleagues across the organization
  • Ability to work with little supervision and manage multiple complex tasks/assignments
