The Provider Onboarding Navigator is responsible for Provider integration into Health System and serves as the lead contact for providers during onboarding, transfers, and off-boarding of health system. 

To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.  
  • Establish a working relationship between providers, local hospital Administrative Teams and LifePoint Health Provider Services Team.
  • Leads process for new provider onboarding with the organization and initiates appropriate notifications and steps as required for successful provider integration by holding weekly meetings with key stakeholders. 
  • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with each Provider throughout the on-boarding process by providing a detailed overview of the steps, timeline and required documents, signatures and tasks. Coordinate between the Provider(s) and the organization/practice to ensure compliance and a successful integration.
  • Maintain progress report; Review and monitor the on-boarding timeline and tracking the provider(s) status using the tracking database to ensure on-boarding steps are coordinated and appropriately communicated to operational and financial departments within the committed timeframe.
  • Executes and leads the integration process for onboarding, transferring and off-boarding.  Investigate and resolve communication or process issues affecting the on-boarding of the provider or the requirements of applicable departments.
  • Oversight of provider off-boarding tasks and provider transfer within the organization.

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of health care experience
  • Process improvement experience preferred
  • Moderate overnight travel (up to 30%) by land and/or air
