PT Supervisor - FT - position available.
This position contains both a clinical and supervisory component.   
Core competencies for this position include, but are not limited to the following:  
  •  As a therapist, he/she will be responsible for the application of evaluation, treatment, and supervision of assistants accordingly.  
  • Assists with effective time management of staff to optimize budget compliance, compliance with operational budget expenses, and staff productivity.
  • Reports concerns with daily rehabilitation issues to Director of Rehabilitation. 
  • Notifies Director of equipment needs, patient/employee supply needs, and monitor safety for both patients and employees.
  • Monitors maintenance and cleaning of equipment in work area per policy and procedures. 
  • Performs supervisory functions as directed and in absence of Director. 
  • Adheres to all federal, state and hospital compliance regulations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications for the position include:
  • Graduate of a licensed program in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech pathology with current licensure in the State of Tennessee.
  • Discipline for hire at the time of recruitment- PT, OT, SLP may depend on the need of the Clinical component required for the clinic in order to provide optimal patient care.
  • Must possess abilities in positive human relations, skills and oral communications to communicate with all people entering the department. 
  • Have three to five years (3-5) of Clinical experience and at least one (1) year of supervisory or Lead Therapist experience.  
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Manual Therapy Certification/Skills, Vital Stim, or other Certifications related to specific discipline are a plus.
