Wilson Medical Center

Under the general supervision of the Radiology Services Director, and direct supervision of the Diagnostic Radiology Lead Technologist, and according to established policies and procedures, performs radiologic examinations and procedures.  Work is of a confidential nature.  Per­forms other work of the department as required.

Job Requirements

-  An Associate degree in Radiologic Science (or equivalent) and registry or
   registry eligible as a radiologic technologist in good standing re­quired. 
-  Registry eligible employees must attain registry status within first 24
   months of employment. If not obtained within the first 12 months, a
   plan of action for successful achievement within the second 12 months
   must be submitted on or before the first anniversary date to the
   Radiology Services Manager for approval.
-  The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and
   react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent,
   adult and geriatric patients.
-  CPR certification required and provided.
