Job Description

Central Carolina Hospital is looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist to help provide basic and advanced respiratory care services in all clinical areas of the hospital. The successful candidate will have experience working as an RT in a hospital setting, a compassionate and caring attitude and a proven ability to work collaboratively. The RT will provide both invasive and noninvasive forms of ventilation to patients; educate staff and students; review, collect and evaluate relevant clinical data on patients and use critical thinking skills to develop a plan of care. The RT will also communicate changes in the Respiratory Care plan with other healthcare team members, perform both basic and advanced procedures including arterial puncture, blood gas analysis, endotracheal intubation and assistance with bronchoscopy.
