Job Description:

  • Responsible for daily auditof all charges incurred from the ED.
  • Responsible for assistingHIM department with obtaining required documentation and/or signatures from ED providersneeded for completion of the medical record.
  • Performs daily auditing ofED charts for documentation completion in regards to charge capture and qualitymeasures.
  • Assists administrativedirector with departmental reports.
  • Assists with EMR downtimeprocedure.
  • Assists with testing and trouble-shootingin all items related to Firstnet charts when needed.
  • Provides feedback tohospital CI or designee regarding changes needed in Firstnet.
  • Reviews charge reports/A-8report for daily reconciliation.


Job Requirements

Current RN license in the state of NC.
