RN Treatment Nurse - FT - Day Shift position available.  $5000.00 Sign On Bonus.

Duties include but are not limited too:

  • Demonstrate adequate clinical skills by including the holistic resident in assessment and care of the resident according to established policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate and awareness of aging as a unique development stage implementing nursing interventions as appropriate for stage in development, including communication and psychosocial skills.
  • Demonstrate adequate skills in documentation to provide charting in clear, concise, legible, and objective manner as related to care plans, summaries, MAR’s, physician’s orders, and all required documentation.
  • Evaluate physical and/or emotional states of each resident during rounds, notifying Director of Nursing and physician of any adverse changes in resident condition.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing care in the geriatric health care setting with compliance with all state, federal and Joint Commission regulations.
  • Contact physician promptly when necessary concerning resident care.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of personal abilities and limitations by requesting assistance in situations exceeding his/her abilities.
  • Utilize principles of resident confidentiality and privacy at all times including the use of doors, cubical curtains, drapes and gowns.
  • Utilize principles of asepsis and infection control in performance of resident care and equipment maintenance according to established policies and procedures.
  • Complete all documentation and assigned work in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to function in efficient manner in critical situations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety precautions when transferring, lifting, or moving residents or other objects.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety, infection control, and isolation procedures; consistently washes hands as needed.
  • Demonstrate adequate knowledge of medications, side effects, contraindications, administration and interactions, using aseptic technique when preparing mediation.
  • Demonstrate good managerial judgment by encouraging individual accountability for job performance by staff assigned to supervision of charge nurse.
  • Demonstrate adequate supervisory skills, with emphasis on instruction and evaluation of personnel.

Job Requirements


  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
  • Licensed RN in the State of Tennessee
  • One (1) year nursing home experience preferred
  • Wound Care experience preferred.
