The Senior FinancialAnalyst, Development is responsible for assisting in the creation of financialmodels of prospective acquisitions, as well as the due diligence and closingprocesses to complete transactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  To perform this job, an individual must performeach essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonableaccommodation. 

Assist with datacollection and transaction modeling for potential transactions, which can be ahospital, physician practice, or joint venture.

Maintain, develop andassist various financial analysis and financial modeling to ensure quality,accuracy and focused analytic review.

Finalize and present analysisand modeling to Operations and upper level management.

Participate in and assistin facilitating due diligence within the Health Support Center (HSC) for eachtransaction that meets preliminary screening criteria.

Collaborate withbroker(s) to obtain all data necessary to complete required due diligencebefore acquiring a hospital.

Assist with deal closingsand post-closing activities to include working on schedules, preparing wires onthe closing day, preparing net working capital settlements post-closing, andwork on due-to-due from schedules in the months after a transaction has closed.

Provide historicalanalysis of LPNT hospital trends, expense structures, and projections versusactual.

Summarize departmentexpenses and review with the Senior Vice President of Growth InitiativeDepartment.

Update comps database todetermine revenue, expense, and EBITDA targets in potential acquisitions.

Regular and reliableattendance.

Perform other duties asassigned.

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &ABILITIES: Therequirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/orabilities required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree inAccounting or Finance or closely related field.


Experience: Minimumof 3 yearsof experience in finance or investment banking.


Certifications: CPAor CFA preferred.


Licenses: Active CPA/CFA License;Maintain active status.
