The Medical Assistant will provide general patient care in a physician office setting. The Medical Assistant will complete tasks as directed by physician and office manager to ensure seamless operation.
High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Demonstrated phlebotomy experience. Current BLS. Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse-Medical Assistant must be credentialed by an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) (within 6 months of hire). Ability to collect and document vital signs and other required medical patient information; Ability to administer injections, vaccines, and medications; Ability to perform basic triage and treatments as directed. Demonstrated ability to use computers.
Preferred: Medical Assistant Degree. 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse. Six months of phlebotomy skills to include blood draws.
$2500 Sign on for Certified MAs and $5000 for Experienced MAs.
