Job Description
Clark Memorial HospitalThe surgical technologist works as a member of the surgical team providing direct patient care during surgical intervention. The surgical technologist assists by preparing and handling supplies and equipment to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient. Performs specific techniques and functions designed to exclude pathogenic microorganisms from the surgical round. Assists the surgeon with handling sterile instrumentation. May also serve as a 2nd circulator.
Day Shift, 10 hours shifts
On call shifts required. Saturday rotation with on call.
Up To $10,000 Sign on Bonus based on experience
Job Requirements
Requirescompletion of a surgical technologist training program.
Requirescertification as Surgical Technologist (ABSA)
– experience may be considered in lieu of certification
CPRCertification (AHA BLS)
