We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, an 18 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a full-time, day shift Market Telemetry Technician position where under the supervision of an RN, you will perform telemetry monitoring across our four market facilities.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors
  • Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.   Identifies and corrects for artifacts
  • Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings of changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
  • Tests equipment for proper working order.  Reports equipment problems to supervisor
  • Requires critical thinking skills, detail oriented with decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be flexible with work location assignments

    Job Requirements

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent, required

    Required Skills:

    • Ability to pass Cardiac Telemetry Examination upon hire
    • Successfully complete Cardiac Telemetry Certification Course within 6 months of hire date
    • Basic Life Support (BLS),required - American Heart Association
    • State Nursing Assistant (SRNA), preferred
    • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred
    • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), preferred
    • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), preferred
    • Paramedic, preferred
