SageWest Health Care

Unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) are unlicensed health care providers trained to function in a supportive role by providing patient/client care activities as delegated by the RN.  The term includes, but is not limited to nurse aides, orderlies, assistants, attendants, or technicians. UAP function under the nurse practice act of each state. 

Provides direct clinical care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Works only under the direct supervision of a Licensed RN. 

Job Requirements

Required Licenses
[Wyoming, United States] Nursing Assistants
Current certification OR 

Minimum Education

2nd year nursing student

Required Skills
Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
