Assists with the planning, coordination and administrationof general accounting activities of the organization.  Preparesgeneral ledger entries in conjunction with monthly closing processes andreconciles general ledger accounts. Develops analytical/departmentalreports as required or requested. Assists with the development andadministration of the organization's annual budget. Serves as aninterdepartmental liaison. Works with internal and external auditors to preparefor and facilitate audits. Ensures departmental and organizationalcompliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies and applicablelaws and regulations.


Job Requirements

Associate’s degree in accounting required.  Requires critical thinking skills, decisivejudgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Must be able to work in a stressful environmentand take appropriate action.
