Providesdirect and indirect patient care with the Cath Lab team in order to best meetthe needs of the patient. Communicates effectively with all members of thehealth care team as appropriate about changes in the patient’s condition orresponse to treatment. Basic PC skills. Able towork on smoke-free campus. Able to be flexible, organized and function understressful situations.

1.   Performsduties as assigned and requested.

2.   Adequatelyable to determine heart rhythms and intervention needed, and able tocommunicate with the physician and other team members about interventionsneeded.   

3.   Adequately assesses and reassesses the situation andcommunicate changes with the healthcare team if anything changes.

4.   Performs patient care and communicates effectively withpatients of all ages and specific needs.

5.   Demonstrates knowledge of Cath Lab procedures and able towork effectively as a team member.

6.   Assists physicians with procedures and performs servicesrequiring

technicaland manual skills.

7.   Performs treatments and provides services to the level oflicensure. 

8.   Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment thatoptimizes

patientsafety and reduces the likelihood of errors.

9.   Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.

10. Educates patient and family on disease process.


Job Requirements

Education: 

Associate’s degree Preferred

Required License:

Certification as an ARRT

Required Certification:

American Heart Association BLS is required

RCIS certification is preferred

Other:

2 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred
