Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Winchester

Responsible for implementation of the employee health (EH) and infection control and prevention (ICP) components of the QM program to meet the needs of the hospital.  Provides education to medical and hospital staff relative to employee health and infection control/prevention.  Also acts as a resource person to QM Director, administrative team, department managers, other employees, and medical staff.  Performs new hire health and immunization screening, follow up on all employee blood or body fluid exposures, data collection, analysis, surveillance, and reporting.  This position also requires knowledge of the regulatory requirements for employee health and infection control/prevention activities and functions within these requirements. In addition, this individual participates in PICC team coverage.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education:
Successful completion of an approved RN program; BSN preferred.
Required Skills:
• Ability to set priorities; coordinates multiple tasks, organizes tasks, and maintains control of workflow. 
• Basic computer knowledge.  
• Ability to effectively communicate in English; both verbally and in writing. 
 
Licenses:
• Current and active Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of Tennessee.  
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
