St Francis Hospital

Coordinate and lead the teams for medically prescribed rehabilitation programs designed to allow patients to reach their maximum functional ability.  Serve as a liaison, facilitator, mentor, and leader to Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapist.  Perform all clinical functions as identified by his/her specific rehabilitation discipline whereby licensed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•         Execute the job duties and responsibilities identified in the job description associated with the clinical rehabilitation discipline so licensed for.

•         Provide leadership and guidance to clinical and non-clinical staff; assist in goal setting, problem resolution, resource management, etc.

•         Provide direction to professional and clerical/support staff.

•         Demonstrate a commitment to a health work environment through modeling the desired behaviors and encouraging such behavior in others.

•         Demonstrate a clear understanding of regulations applicable to patient care.

•         Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.

•         Lead all training and development initiatives; ensure new associates receive all required training and are fully versed on all Standard Operating Procedures.

•         Evaluate, follow-up, and participate in the interdisciplinary management of all rehab patients.

•         Lead and facilitate the collection, dissemination, and reporting of clinical outcome data specific to rehabilitation.

•         Assist in evaluating the competence of clinical staff to perform their respective duties.

•         Assist in developing and maintaining compliance with established standards.

•         Maintain respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure professional, responsible, and a courteous environment.

•         Promote an effective and team oriented work environment.

        Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education:

As required by the job description in which licensed to perform clinical rehabilitation services.

Minimum Work Experience:

One (1) year of clinical rehabilitation experience at St. Francis Hospital, and demonstrated proficiency to supervise or lead a team of peers.

License(s) / Certification(s):

•         Current and valid licensure in the State of Georgia by the appropriate party identified in accordance with the job description for which licensed to perform clinical rehabilitation services.

•         Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

•         Knowledge of applicable St. Francis Hospital policies and procedures necessary to work in a supervisory capacity.

•         All of those required in accordance with the job description for which licensed to perform clinical rehabilitation services.

•         Leadership skills and the ability to direct the activities of others.

•         Interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a progressive manner with persons of varying personality types.

•         Strong organizational skills and the ability to provide structure.

•         Ability to operate transportation assistance equipment.
