***Thisposition will support all of the Primary Care Clinics. Travel to clinics willbe expected**. The Clinical Support person is a customer and patient serviceoriented team player who is responsible for supporting the clinics by providinga variety of services for preparing and maintaining patient records, preparingpatients for physician, other provider or nurse, interacting maintainingoptimal patient flow and assists with patient care as directed.  The ever-changing healthcare environment hasexpanded our search to include individuals with current CMA, MA, CNA, EMT, orLPN certification for this role.  Weidentify the experience that each individual can bring to our clinic setting. CMA Preferred

Job Requirements

Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required plus additionalvocational/specialized healthcare training required. 

Other Education: Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program,Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, Medical Assistant program, orLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program

Certification/Licensure:
CMA Preferred

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Must be able to provide a statementverifying a minimum of 24 months experience in the last 36 months under thesupervision of a licensed health care provider. Completion of ABR within 3 months of hire.                 OR

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Must be able to provide a statement verifying a minimum of 24 months experience inthe last 36 months under the supervision of a licensed health careprovider.  Completion of ABR within 3months of hire.                 OR

Medical Assistant, Registered – Must be able to provide a statement verifying aminimum of 24 months experience in the last 36 months under the supervision ofa licensed health care provider. Completion of ABR within 3 months of hire isrequired.                                    OR

Certified Medical Assistant - completion of a Certified Medical Assistantprogram required, certified by the AAMA within 6 months of hire.                                        OR

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Completion of a nursing program, licensed asan LPN in Wisconsin at time of hire or within 6 months of hire.                                          

CPR required                 

CNA’s and EMT’s who are hired into this position will be required to completemedication competency training and pass appropriate testing within 90 days ofhire in order to work in the job.
