We want you on our team...Bourbon Community Hospital located in Paris, a 20  minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a PRN Mobile Assessment Therapist to join our behavioral health team in providing face to face risk assessments, pre-commitment investigations, and crisis intervention primarily in a hospital setting both within Bourbon community as well as in surrounding sister hospitals and partnered facilities.

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

Conducts screening and/or assessments in keeping with clinical knowledge, skill level, and department policies.
Refer callers to appropriate resources
Demonstrates sufficient understanding of services available in the surrounding community.
Interacts well with referral sources
Facilitates prompt communications in the best interest of the patient and the facility's operations.
Demonstrates knowledge of programs amp/or unit services, policies, and procedures.
Responds to request for mobile within 15 minutes and presents to location within 60 minutes.
Appropriately logs and submits completed assessments in a timely manner.
Documentation on Intake Call Sheets is complete and correct in all areas.

Job Requirements

Education:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services field, or Licensed PsychiatricOR RN with a minimum of a BSN and psychiatric-mental health certificationCertifications: Valid KY driver's licenseNCI (nonviolent crisis intervention)Minimum Work Experience: Three years’ experience and knowledge in the area of mental health.Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention, crisis management, and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses, symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development, and experience with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
