We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, an 18  minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a PRN, MT Accredited to join our Laboratory Department in collecting specimens and performing laboratory testing in all areas of the clinical laboratory to aid providers in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states.

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs order entry, phlebotomies, and collects other specimens such as urine drug screens when necessary.
  • Performs laboratory testing in all areas of the laboratory to include Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Coagulation, Immunohematology, Microbiology, and Chemistry.
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks as designated for laboratory analyzers in all areas of the clinical laboratory.
  • Performs calibrations and quality control when required and is responsible for verifying the integrity of such testing.
  • Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
  • Performs proficiency testing and linearity testing as assigned to maintain accrediting body compliance.
  • Assists in keeping policy and procedure manuals up to date.
  • Assists in keeping supplies at adequate levels by completing weekly departmental inventories.
  • Participates in hospital wide and departmental performance improvement activities.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Job Requirements


  •  Bachelor's Degree in Medial Laboratory Science or Medical Technology


  • MT or MLS (ASCP) or MT (AMT) or MT (HEW) or MT (NCA)
