Bolivar Medical Center

Provides direct and indirect resident care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN.  Assists residents with activities or daily living, provides for personal care, comfort and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group or residents.

Professional Requirements:
 
 
  • Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.
  • Completes annual education requirements.
  • Maintains regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains resident confidentiality at all times.
  • Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time.
  • Wears identification while on duty, uses computerized punch time system correctly.
  • Completes inservices and returns in a timely fashion.
  • Attends annual review and department inservices, as scheduled.
  • Attends all staff meetings annually, reads and returns all monthly staff meeting minutes.
  • Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
  • Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
  • Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
  • Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility.
 
Regulatory Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of Mississippi for Long Term Care Facilities.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within three (3) months of hire date.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
 Skills:
  • Basic computer knowledge.
