Providence Health is currently looking for a PRN Pharmacist for our Downtown team. The ideal candidate will have experience in polypharmacy, discharge counseling and education, and more.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor medication therapy for efficacy and safety in target patient populations as part of regular patient care unit-based practice. 
  • Identify desired outcomes and contribute to the development of therapeutic plans. 
  • Intervene to prevent adverse drug events and medication errors. 
  • Ongoing collaboration with physicians, physician extenders, nurses, and other pharmacists is an essential facet of these processes

Job Requirements

Minimum Work Experience

3+ years preferred.


Minimum Education

Graduate of a Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy. Programrecognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).


Required Skills

BLS required. PALSpreferred.


Required Licenses

Active licensure as a pharmacist inSouth Carolina.

BLS through American HeartAssociation
