We want you on our team...Bourbon Community Hospital, located in Paris, a 20  minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a full-time, day shift Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Physical Therapy team in providing physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeksconsultation as necessary.
Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.

Job Requirements

Education:

Associates Degree- Required

Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program - Required

Certifications:

BLS: Required

License:

Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of KY: required
