Position Duties:


 Produces memos, reports, statistics, etc. for department use.                           
 Inventories and orders supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels.  Receives, inspects and stocks supplies on a timely basis.                          
 Answers telephone, screens and directs calls, takes messages, and handles all queries in a friendly and prompt manner.                      
 Assists in the planning and coordination of special projects.                              
 Interacts with Administration, Board of Directors, other departments, and outside individuals.                  
 Schedules and coordinates activities such as meetings, events, travel, facility, or equipment use. Establishes and maintains department calendars.                          
 Coordinates, maintains, and updates numerous files, records, minutes, reports, certifications, contracts, manuals, and confidential material.                            
 Duplicates and distributes various materials, manuals, correspondence, and information in a timely manner.                               
 Arranges department and/or equipment maintenance and repairs.                                   
 Acts as recording secretary and support staff for Hospital Board of Directors and all Board committees.
 Participates in strategic planning meetings, prepares and distributes minutes of same, and performs variety of follow-up activities.                                 
 Complies with Customer Service Standards.                              
 Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of position responsibility.

Job Requirements

Education: Associate’s Degree in Administration/Secretarial or Office Management or related field, preferred.

Experience: Minimum five years progressive, executive secretarial or administrative assistant experience.
