Health Support Center

This is a PRN position.

Job Summary:

The Director, Supply Chain Operations Support is responsible for the support and maintenance of Supply Chain initiatives at both the LifePoint Health support Center (LHSC) and facilities. 

General Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of Supply Chain initiatives.
• Support all facility based materials management activities, supply improvement initiatives and implementation of material GPO agreements.
• Coordinate all contracting and standardization opportunities by coordinating with LHSC Supply Chain leadership, facility leadership, and physicians.
• Provide education on LHSC Supply Chain policies, procedures, and best demonstrated practices.
• Support the execution of infrastructure project plan for the transition of newly acquired facilities. This includes the implementation of standardized operational practices for all Supply Chain functions and systems.
• Participate in acquisition due diligence process and asses purchase closing initiatives. 

Job Requirements

(Experience, Education and Special Certifications…)

•         Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration or similar preferred Business Administration or related field; or substituting experience for equivalent combination of education and experience.

•         Hospital management experience preferred

•         Demonstrate a working knowledge of Supply Chain processes and comprehensive understand of Microsoft Excel and other PC based applications

•         Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills for the interpretation and execution of Supply Chain initiatives

•         Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.

•         Possess good organizational skills.

•         Detail oriented.

•         Must have the ability to work within the established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the LHSC and the immediate supervisor.

•         Willing to travel approximately 75% of the time.
