Providesdirect patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance withapplicable scope and standards of practice.

Essential Functions

  • Performs plan of care intervention, includingmedication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well asother medical care treatment.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates with patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/ psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/ family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Job Requirements

  • Licensed RN in the State of Indiana
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing 
  • Must have thorough knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
  • Will work Three 12 Hour Shifts from 7p to 7a, Full Time
  • CPR Certification Required
  • ACLS within one year
